Levon Resources is exploring its 100%-owned, 20,000-hectare (49,400-acre) Cordero Project in northwest Mexico.
Cordero represents an outstanding and rapidly-growing target for porphyry silver, gold, zinc and lead. Exploration Phases 1, 2 and 3, which began in early 2009 and concluded in mid-2011, identified and expanded multiple, large-scale deposits analogous to Goldcorp's massive Penasquito Mine in terms of geology, metal assemblage and grade.
Cordero's first NI 43-101 resource was announced in June 2011 and included 310M oz silver, 900,000 oz gold, 5.3B lbs zinc and 2.9B lbs lead. Phase 4 exploration, including 130,000m of core drilling, began in August 2011.
