Our distinct corporate culture is based on the principle that every person has the right to be treated with dignity and respect. We offer competitive salaries and benefits, respect differences and encourage healthy debate. We also recognize employee contributions and celebrate successes as a team.
Our workplace culture is fostered through collaboration and respect, which translates into strong, long-lasting relationships between the Company and all of its employees.
With operations around the world, we place a high value on the diversity of our workforce. The marriage of different cultures creates a unique working environment at our sites where the values of respect and competency are the common denominators.
Equal Opportunity Employer
Our work environment is based on our philosophy that every person deserves to be treated with equal respect — regardless of position, gender, physical ability and culture — no matter where our operation is located in the world.
To maintain good labour relations, a Collaboration Committee has been established at each operating mine. These committees, consisting of employees from different departments who are elected by their co-workers, meet frequently with mine management to discuss various issues of concern (such as employment conditions, compensation and benefits, and safety).
Our competitive and comprehensive benefits packages are among the best in the industry and extend to all Agnico-Eagle employees.
Inter-divisional mobility within the Company allows our employees to gain valuable knowledge and experience.
Corporate Social Responsibility
We aim to be an employer of choice in each of our host communities. This involves operating safely, empowering our employees, treating them in a fair, respectful and open manner, and seeking their input and involvement in a meaningful way at all phases of our operations.
From exploration to mining, we also work hard to preserve and protect our natural environment by implementing sound environmental management systems and processes at all stages of our business activities, and by pursuing continuous improvement in our environmental performance.
