| The Diamond mining industry constitutes the second largest source of foreign income to Angola. ITM Mining Limited is deeply involved in this industry and regards its activity as a means to contribute to the development of Angola.
ITM is a specialized company in mining and processing, in the development of production geology as well as in the engineering of projects and in all complementary mining activities.
ITM has been playing a central role in the alluvial mining sector since 1993 and is currently developing alluvial mining activities for Sociedade Mineira do Calonda, in the Calonda Project, and between 1998 and 2005 for SML - Sociedade Mineira do Lucapa - in the Mufuto North Project.
ITM is involved in the Chitotolo Project as a shareholder, with 40% of the equity capital. This venture is a partnership with two other companies, ENDIAMA (state owned company) and LUMANHE.
