Williams Operating Corporation is one of the largest gold producer in Canada. Located in the Hemlo area near Marathon, Ontario, the mine is jointly owned and operated by Teck Cominco and Barrick Gold Corporation. The David Bell gold mine is located two kilometres east of Williams Operating Corporation. The mill at Williams Operating Corporation processes ore from Williams Operating Corporation underground and open pit operations, as well as ore that is trucked from the nearby David Bell underground mine.

Williams Operating Corporation runs a "Wellness Program" to promote healthier lifestyles for employees. Initiatives included raising employee awareness of lifestyle changes needed to lead healthier lives as well as an incentive program developed to assist employees in increasing their physical activity levels.
