1. Engineering

Education

B.SC. in Engineering from an accredited university and eligibility for registration as a Professional Engineer.

Description

We look for engineers with all levels of experience - from new grads to experienced workers. Engineers typically work in process/production or maintenance environments, but can also work on other projects. They also have the opportunity to become supervisors, leading teams that include Technicians, Engineers, and other personnel.
Our engineering co-op and internship programs, administered by universities in Canada and the US, provide valuable on-the-job experience to students. We also hire several summer students each year to work at various facilities. These vacancies are often posted on both our own and the university's websites.
Our Engineer-In-Training (EIT) program provides new graduates with experience at several of our potash facilities. These positions are rotational - at the end of the rotation the EITs will be permanently placed at one of our facilities. EIT vacancies are posted on our website.

2. Trades/Craftsmen

Education

Positions require a high school diploma and a Journeyperson License. A diploma from a technical school in a related field is an asset, as is experience in an industrial environment.

Description

These positions perform tasks related to the maintenance and upkeep of the operations. Those demonstrating exemplary leadership skills can progress to supervisory positions.

3. Accounting/Finance

Areas

Corporate Reporting, Treasury, Tax, Revenue Accounting, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Credit, Invoicing, Payroll

Education

Diploma in Finance or Accounting or a Bachelor of Commerce or Business-related degree.

Description

Many positions require an accounting designation such as Chartered Accountant, Certified Managerial Accountant, or Certified Public Accountant, supplemented by related experience. We look for highly skilled people to be Accounting Clerks, Accountants, Supervisors and Managers who lead and support accounting and finance-related functions.

4. Information Technology

Areas

IT Services (Help Desk), IT Security, Technical Systems, Data Communications, IT Research, Systems Support, Database

Education

A 2-year diploma from a Technical Institution or University degree in Computer Science or related discipline, supplemented by related experience.

Description

Positions include IT Support Technicians and Analysts, Programmer and Systems Analysts, Administrators, Technical Analysts and Specialists. These positions support IT-related systems and applications throughout the company.

  • Corporate Relations - includes positions in public relations, which deals with media and engages communities and governments where we operate; market research, which analyzes market data and provides reports used in management decision-making; and investor relations, which builds relationships and liaises with the investment community.
