San Gold Corporation Rice Lake Mine Booth

San Gold Corporation’s 100% owned Rice Lake Mining Complex is located in Bissett, approximately 235 km northeast of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. The site has a permitted, modern gold mill currently processing ore at a capacity of 2,500 tons per day, modern surface infrastructure including a licensed tailings management facility, and is connected to the Manitoba power grid system.

Mining first commenced at the site in 1931 with the deepest workings now reaching to about 1,600 metres below surface. Operations are currently ongoing at the 007 and Hinge ramp mines and in the RLM shaft mine. Operations are highly mechanized, relying primarily on cut and fill and long-hole mining methods, with a small amount of shrinkage mining using stoppers and jack legs.

Since starting operations in 2005, San Gold has had considerable exploration success, including the 2009 discovery of the 007 Zone, Manitoba's largest single gold deposit. San Gold has consolidated a large portion of the regional land package through a series of transactions and joint venture agreements, increasing the Company's total land position to more than 400 km across some of the most prospective claims in the region.

San Gold has established measured and indicated resources of 2,395,000 tons at a grade of 0.23 ounces per ton and inferred resources of 15,402,000 tons at a grade of 0.23 ounces per ton.
