Defining Our Clients Requirement
Using our experience as specialists in executive search for mining clients and using proprietary search tools, we first develop a thorough understanding of our clients specific requirement and their organizational culture and their strategic intent. We define the role and the specific candidate competencies required. We confirm our understanding of these requirements by preparing a General Outline/Candidate Specification for our clients approval before we start any search.
Developing a Specific Search Strategy
With a clear understanding of our clients needs, we then develop a specific search strategy tailored for each assignment, whether the requirement be for a single position or multiple requirements, or whether the search needs to be focused on a local, national, or global basis.
We confirm a specific timetable for our deliverables and where necessary, combine the research capabilities of our international partners with ours to ensure we locate and attract the best talent for our clients needs.
Assessing Candidates
Using best-in-class assessment methods, including behavioral-event interviewing, we combine our experience in assessing candidates to ensure that candidates bring the specific management and operational accomplishments as well as the specific leadership competencies required for our clients needs.
Interview Process
Throughout the interview process, we provide advice and counsel to our clients as well as candidates to ensure satisfactory closure. Our advice includes information on competitive remuneration and comprehensive referencing, often using third-parties.
After-Hiring
After a candidate is hired, we provide assistance to our client and the newly hired executive during the initial transition period to assist and ensure in the long-term success of the candidate in their new role.
