The Administrative Clerk - Warranty position is responsible for submitting and maintaining warranty claims and entering that information into BaaN and LISA II. The Warranty Administrator will also be working closely with the Rebuild Shop, helping to ascertain parts and processing production orders, assembling and processing quotations and sales orders to customers.  The Administrative Clerk - Warranty may also be responsible for answering the phones, greeting customers and office visitors, entering data into the Company computer systems to prepare reports, process invoices, and create purchase orders.

Essential Job Duties:

·          Administrative data entry into BaaN and LISA II to complete and submit failure reports and warranty claims, as required.  

·          Receive and track all component cores per serial number, including Cortez's owned spare parts (seed components).  

·          Assist Cortez/Barrick and ASARCO with invoicing issues pertaining to rebuild components and warranty, by researching issues that may have occurred during the process.

·          Assist the Rebuild Shop in assembling and processing quotations and sales orders.

·          Assist the Rebuild shop to ascertain parts and process production orders.

·          Maintains inventory, sales orders, and cycle counts in BaaN, and makes adjustments, as needed.

·          Invoices and enters warranty and rebuild component information data into BaaN and LISA II.

·          Enters Replenishment Orders (RPL's) into BaaN.

 

Education and Experience:

A combination of education and experience equivalent to a High School diploma, technical/vocational school, and demonstrated knowledge of the mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical control systems.

Additional Requirements:

·         Ability to maintain Mine Safety & Health Administration (MSHA) certification.

·         Ability to work overtime as required.

·         Ability to maintain a valid driver's license.
