About the Role

WorkPac Professional are seeking an experienced Software Developer for a??6-month contracted role??with possible extension on a 5:2 roster; located by the Perth Airport.

Duties

The successful candidate will be working within the Rail Productivity Program, working with other Software Developers, Domain Experts and Software Architects. This is a hands on fast paced role, working with some exciting technology.

Knowledge/Skills/Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Working closely with related internal software development teams using agile methodologies.
  • Be a highly motivated ?self-starter?? who is passionate about software development and is keen to learn from other high-level developers.
  • Working directly with third party vendors to define technical requirements and customize, configure and implement solutions to interface with carious external systems.
  • Be a team player, ability to collaborate idea sharing in strong product setting.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Equivalent.
  • 7+ years of backend software development experience with a strong understanding in web applications.
  • Experience in .NET and SQL Server, IIS, Wed Development.
  • Proficiency with the following software development tools: Microsoft Visual Studio, Microsoft SQL Enterprise Manager and Query Analyzer.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Right to work in Australia.


Desirable but not Required:

  • Master?s degree or Industry certification.
  • Mining Industry experience highly desired.
  • Experience in PowerBI, TIBCO, Spotfire, SSRS Reporting Tools.
