With offices in Sydney and Melbourne, our client has been providing services to the contaminated land sector for more than 20 years. Due to the continued growth of the Sydney team, they require the services of an Environmental Manager with a strong technical background in the CLM (Contaminated Land Management) industry.

Reporting to the Managing Director based in Melbourne, your role will be to lead the Sydney group to continue delivering and growing their presence across NSW. To do this, you will be required to:
  • Work closely with the corporate leadership team to execute growth strategies
  • Develop business across Sydney, NSW and possibly QLD
  • Manage an existing team of senior and mid-level consultants
  • Assist the in-house EPA accredited Auditor to deliver on audit projects
  • Train, mentor and guide consultants
  • Maintain systems and processes to deliver consistent high-quality work
  • Work with the corporate administration team to develop and report on budgets/finances
To be considered for this role you will have a degree in Environmental Science, Engineering or similar plus:
  • Extensive experience in the NSW CLM industry
  • Experience acting as an Auditor's assistant (or Auditor) in NSW would be highly regarded
  • Hydrogeological, soil and groundwater expertise related to CLM projects
  • Proven experience managing people, budgets and projects
  • Enthusiasm and energy to develop the business and to personally develop within the business
  • Flexibility to travel from time to time as necessary
