Geovert Ltd is a specialised civil, geotechnical and rope access construction company 
that provides ground support in both civil and mining areas with regional offices in 
Australia, New Zealand & Indonesia. 
We are receiving expression of interest for an Experienced Surface Diamond/Wire Line 
Drillers x 3 who will train new driller assistants; perform and document maintenance; 
repairs company equipment and vehicles, and prepare daily reports of all drilling activities. 
You will be required to DTH overburden material before coring operations commence. 
You’ll have prior geotechnical, deep wire line drilling experience, along with the use of 
casing systems, or similar trade skill. You’ll need to be practical, able to work in remote 
conditions and adverse weather conditions and ideally you will have mechanical 
The position is based on a Fly In/Fly Out roster from/to New Zealand / Australia and 
Indonesia. A passed pre-employment medical is required. You must be able to legally 
work in New Zealand. 
To be successful in the role, one should have the following qualities: 
 Cert 3 Surface Min 
 Knowledge of drill rigs, diesel engines, hydraulics and electrical 
 Experienced in air, air/mist foam & mud flushing mediums and recirculating methods 
 Knowledge on DTH and R/C would be an advantage 
 Excellent communication and planning skills. 
 Good team leader 
 Preferably 5 + years diamond or wire line driller experience (On Levers) 
 The ability to work in harsh remote locations and to be able to communicate and work with other cultures. 
 Work with and maintain client relations in a professional manner. 
 Provide referees to confirm your work ethic and ability.
