Job Description:

Manage product setup, optimization and rationalization including system data and cross functional work to facilitate the different phases of work across the organization.
Manage business strategy and develop plans to mitigate risks (capacity, raw material, regulatory, competitive changes, etc.).
Clear communication to the business team on topics related to Marketing pressures, regulatory changes and supply chain efficiencies.
Build partnership with operations, supply chain, 3rd party suppliers, and product steward along with becoming the voice of the Business.  (S&OP meetings, operations / supply meetings as resource support issue resolution
Review and analyze expected margin and gross profit performance trends that involve current pricing, raw material costs & sales trends to achieve business targets.
Maintain responsibility for developing formal price books, knowledge of changes and approving price deviation requests.
Facilitate demand reviews, balancing commercial with supply perspective, monitor demand/production/inventory trends and prioritize as needed.
Obtain sales allocation priorities with sales and communicate to Supply Chain organization.  Manage and administer the sales control process.
Support New Product Innovation development, including new blend formulation, product launch from R&I and communication across the businesses for strategic business growth.


A successful candidate will:

Possess a Bachelor degree in Engineering, Science, Business, or Finance. MBA preferred.

Minimum 5 years of experience in product management, sales and operations, marketing or technical related field.

Demonstrated experience in demand planning, forecast accuracy, inventory management, logistics, regulatory and compliance requirements for a global business

Demonstrated knowledge and experience with new product introductions, R&I project phases, portfolio optimization and rationalizing product lines.

Previous experience with basic business financial measurements systems, management of pricing, gross margins and profitability measurements and working capital.

Knowledgeable of manufacturing programs that support new products, improved costs, product performance and quality along with supply balancing.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. Advanced user in Excel (pivot tables)

A successful candidate may have:

Excellent communication and presentation skills to work in a global virtual matrix environment

High sense for detail and patience to work with a cross functional organization

Fluent in English is a requirement – knowledge of French and/or Spanish is an added value

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. Advanced user in Excel (pivot tables)

Proficient with SAP, Qlikview or related business enterprise reporting packages for performance management and score card tracking.

Previous supervisory experience.

Willing to travel at least 25%-35% of the time (domestic/international).

Be a strong team player with focus on compliance to company policies

Able to operate in a global/virtual organization.
