Primary Responsibilities
• Review and process all preheat and PWHT work orders.
• Read weld lists and ISO drawings
• Ensure equipment meets requirements for new projects.
• Verify communication requirements for computers and communication equipment for new projects.
• Assist with remote pre-test of all equipment prior to shipping to site.
• Assist with testing of all equipment returned from site.
• Ensure all equipment repair documentation is submitted and kept on permanent file.
• Ensure all equipment meets quality assurance program specifications.
• Provide technical support to the field for problems associated with equipment.
• Perform calibrations on all equipment in accordance with quality assurance requirements.
• Perform maintenance on equipment.
• Provide technical support to the heat treat supervisor for equipment problems.
• Maintain outstanding tasks assigned to the console control department.
• Perform software upgrades to equipment and computers as required.
• Provide troubleshooting support of company network, computers and printers.
• Provide prompt responses to support related emails, phone calls and other electronic communications.
• Provide support to the field for arranging shipments and returns; request quotes and create associated documentation.
• Modify wrapping spec sheets
• Manage any projects that have been assigned by the heat treat supervisor.
• Adapt to changing software and equipment as new releases become available.

• At least five years' work experience in preheat/PWHT and control
• Strong computer skills
• Ability to manage time and complete tasks within deadlines
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational and presentation skills
• Ability to solve practical problems and adapt to a variety of situations

Working Conditions
• Fast-paced field environment; must be able to interact professionally with all levels of management while simultaneously manage a diversified workload and challenging situations efficiently and effectively.
• Travel in the U.S. and internationally (75-100%).
