  •  [Company] will provide the successful candidate with all levels of training and development to include on the job training, internal class room training as well as technical school training in areas such as hydraulics, electrical and welding. The program will also include manufacturer certified training from industry leaders such as Caterpillar.
  • The goal of this technical program will be to develop an individual into a highly skilled heavy equipment mechanic for a career with[Company] . The candidate will obtain on the job experience within their assigned area and also be asked to travel frequently to the required training during their first 3 years of training. Once proficient, they will be assigned to one of our facilities in the local area as a heavy equipment mechanic.

Qualifications

  • Employee will be taught and expected to work with a high degree of  competence, skill and proficiency and shall:
  • Must be 18 or older and a high school diploma or GED.
  • Successful candidate will be mechanically inclined and have the ability and willingness to learn.
  • Performs duties safely, responsibly and proficiently observing all safety and health rules.
  • Must be willing to travel to required training or schools.
  • Performs pre-shift and post-shift safety inspections and completes daily equipment reports.
  • Performs a variety of duties as directed in addition to those described herein.
