A large mining construction company based at Lonmin requires the above.
Responsibilities will include:
- Candidates must preferably have either a degree or a diploma in Human Resources or Industrial Relations with a minimum of 2 years experience on construction sites or in the mining environment.
- Liaison with the communities and unemployment committees, appointment of hourly paid employees, administration of grievances and discipline, mobilisation and demobilisation of employees to site, control of Shop Stewards meetings, liaise with trade union officials, represent the company at the CCMA, audit sub-contractors for compliance to the law and IR procedure, assist employees with pay queries, monitors industry agreements, report writing, minute taking at IR meetings, administration of training records, induction of new employees, termination of limited duration contract employees, etc.
- The incumbent will be part of the site management team and report to the Site Manager.
