Job Overview

We have an exciting opportunity for an IT Analyst Developer (Engineering Systems) to join our global IT team located in Milwaukee, WI. In this role you will work support with our Surface Mining Engineering team in the maintenance of existing Engineering tools and systems.

Responsibilities

  • Provides high level of service to Engineering team, and IT support staff on software integration solutions
  • Enhance programs that are deployed/integrated with CAD systems
  • Perform software integration testing and deployment rollout
  • Complete complex programming solutions when problem arise
  • Responsible for writing documentations and process flow diagrams for existing or new tools
  • Use current programming practices and tools, such as C#, Angular, React, and SQL to build applications


Education / Qualification

Required

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in application development
  • 3+ years of experience with Windows application development using Microsoft's Visual Studio .NET, C# and VB.NET
  • 3+ years of experience with JavaScript, React, Angular, and SQL scripting
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as part of a team
  • Ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing
  • Ability to think critically and troubleshoot issues when they arise
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships with team members and the user community
  • A passion for technology and a drive to succeed
  • Able to juggle competing tasks and quickly switch between them
  • A demonstrated track record of getting systems done from design through implementation

Preferred

Qualifications:


  • Experience working with engineering systems such as CAD, PDM and/or PLM systems
  • Java Programming experience
  • Web development experience
  • Application integration experience
