The Mining Recruitment Group is a boutique executive search firm focused on the unique needs of the mining industry.
Our client, a junior resource company trading on the TSX-v, is currently looking for a full-time Corporate Communications Manager to come on board and join them in their downtown
Vancouver headquarters.
Reporting to the CEO, you will act as a liaison between the technical team and investors, and work with management to add to the company image.
Key responsibilities include design and implementation of strategic marketing materials such as brochures and trade show displays, develop targeted plans/programs to broaden investor base, effectively positioning company strategy, and working closely with the CEO on other investor matters all within the context of our client’s corporate disclosure policies.
You will be the primary contact person for our client’s existing shareholders, fielding shareholder calls and responding to email request from shareholders.
You will maintain the email list and handle website updates.
Other duties will include organizing and attending tradeshows and our client’s AGM and the dissemination of News Releases.
The ideal candidate will have:
· Previous demonstrable success in an Investor Relations role.
· Strong previous exposure to and understanding of the mining sector.
· Strong personal connections to the financial community, including connections to fund managers, analysts, brokers, newsletter writers, etc.
You also possess excellent communication, personal management and computer skills along with the ability to work effectively in a team, multi-task and develop, nurture and maintain strong relationships.
