Chief Engineer, Reliability Engineering

Responsible for:

• Development, administration and control of reliability engineering and preventive maintenance process.
• Establishment of sustainable practices and measurement processes for successful asset reliability.
• Providing technical leadership in the area of reliability centered maintenance (RCM).
• Establish and maintain standards and processes for reliability centered asset management.
• Act as  change agent, identify needs and guide development of required skills and/or new resources.
• Guide personnel in data gathering and analysis processes; review, assess and create new Preventive (PM) and Predictive (PdM) Maintenance schedules for critical equipment (long-range schedule).
• Audit plant PM and PdM performance for compliance to standards and provide technical leadership.
• Lead/actively participate in Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) investigations as required.
• Coordinate with project managers and operations personnel in maintenance and life-cycle aspects of new capital projects, and on projects involving modification to existing assets. 
• Drive a process to engineer RCM into all processes.  Support development of capital and O/M budgets and assure they properly support the RCM function.
• Develop and implement self-sustaining training program for RCM and RCFA skills.
• Other duties, as required.

• Experience with various maintenance technologies, including UT, infrared thermography, vibration analysis, tribology and motor analysis.
• Ten+ years of progressive maintenance experience in a related or industrial process industry involving fixed and rotating equipment:
