Graduate Metallurgical Engineers

Reporting to the Senior Metallurgical Engineer, you will work with the Metallurgical engineering team, which is responsible for plant optimization, including daily production and quality targets. Further responsibilities include evaluating current plant performance, evaluating new technology, determining plant equipment requirements, justifying capital expenditures and monitoring a computerized plant information system. You will also be required periodically to supervise and train BU Employees in performance of their duties.
 
You have a degree in Metallurgy, Mineral Processing or Chemical Engineering from an accredited university, with experience in plant operations an asset.  In addition to strong computer and communication skills, you have the ability to work with OSI Software and PLC Controls.  Knowledge of PLC Systems would be an asset, as would the ability to use Microsoft Office Products efficiently.
