Field Service Representative

There are 46 [Company] facilities, consisting of sales offices, manufacturing plants, service centers and/or parts warehouses, located in eight countries around the world.

We are currently looking to add a Field Service Representative to[Location].
 
Responsibilities:
  • Respond to customer requests for advice, guidance, and troubleshooting during machine failure within the Bull Mountain Mine.
  • Assess customer requirements and assist with specific problems
  • Advise customers on technical, safety, and operational considerations
  • Coordinate with mine maintenance personnel in order to provide timely technical support and repair of OE and Rebuilt [Company] equipment
  • Complete regular machine inspections with customer
  • Determine and implement effective preventative maintenance schedules with mine personnel
  • Evaluate monthly parts and component usage, determine excessive use levels, and suggest corrective actions
  • Collect and manage Key Performance indicators
  • Complete regular inventory reviews to determine customer stocking requirements
  • Conduct on-the-job training for equipment maintenance and operation
  • Lead quarterly review teams
  • Evaluate down time occurrences for improvement opportunities
  • Complete machine commissioning requirements
  • Act as a liaison between [Company] and mine personnel
  • Observe equipment operation to ensure proper performance and suggest necessary improvements
  • Submit timely and comprehensive Field Service Reports related to machine performance and other activities
  • Reduce contract liability exposure
  • Counsel customer in maintenance of equipment
  • Conduct quarterly meetings with customer and [Company] personnel
  • Respond to product complaints in an expeditious manner
 
Qualifications:
  • Candidates must be available for 24/7 on-call duty to assist customer with technical problems
  • Progressive experience in machine rebuilds or diagnostics
  • Strong electrical ability and ability to read and interpret all types of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical schematics
  • Must possess strong customer service skills, good communication and computer skills
  • Associates degree in a related field
 
Desired:
  • BS in Electrical, Mining, or Mechanical Engineering Technology
  • Previous experience in a mining atmosphere
