Resource Geologist

Resource Geologist required for an international consultancy who provide comprehensive range of integrated planning, management, engineering and environmental services in the built and natural environments throughout the world.
 
Our clients Mining division provides services to the mining industry at all stages of project development from exploration and resource evaluation through finance and development to permitting, operation, closure and rehabilitation of mine sites.
 
As a key member of the Mining Group, you would have responsibility for the assessment and/or development of Mineral Resource estimates and some responsibilities include:
·         Application and maintenance of professional standards and procedures in Mineral Deposit Evaluation
·         Provision of timely and efficient technical analysis and reporting
·         Production of professional quality technical reports
·         Development and mentoring of the companies geology staff
·         Client liaison and coordination with client representatives
·         Business development including project proposal preparation
·         Participation in geological and mining society meetings, conferences or conventions.
 
Requirements:
·         Minimum of Bachelor of Science Geology or similar with Professional Society designation
·         You should have extensive experience assessing, evaluating, and interpreting mineral deposits covering a wide range of mineral deposit types and styles including gold and base metals, coupled with extensive experience in digital mineral deposit modelling.
·         Experience at a mining operation will be an asset.
·         Some previous geological consulting experience preferred.
