Component Assistant

[Company] supplies equipment parts and service to the construction, forestry and mining industries and utility product users. It was created to provide customers with integrated solutions and to expand our service capabilities as a nationwide organization.

The Role:
Reporting to the Parts Supervisor, this position is responsible for providing administrative support services as they relate to the component functions. Duties include, but are not limited to:

Tracking of components from repair to inventory.
Working with vendors, service assistants, parts and warehouse personnel on all components.
Following up on parts ordered, shipping and details of repair.
Other administrative duties as required.

Qualifications:

Grade 12 or equivalent required.
Previous experience in office, warehousing and/or parts.
Excellent computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
Strong problem solving skills.

This position is a temporary position (maternity leave coverage)
