Function: To Maintain and implement the Training Management System, identify and meet the training needs of the Company's operations.
 
Reporting to: Health Safety Technology Manager
 
Location: Norway
 
Brief Job Description:
  • Assist management with development and maintenance of the Training Management System
  • To develop training and assessment tools
  • To manage contractor training and assessments
  • Ensure compliance with the relevant policies, procedures, standards, codes and legislative requirements;
  • Co-ordinate with the Senior HMS Advisor all site requirements pertaining to orientation and induction programmes;
  • Maintain all personnel Training records and statistics;
  • Develop and maintain good levels of communication with all personnel;
  • Liaise with Site Staff for area specific requirements to ensure specific training requirements are accommodated.
  • Responsible for the updating of the site Training Management System / Training Record
  • Prepare budgets and schedules for on and off-site training programs;
  • Ensure Training records are kept in accordance with site procedures
  • Coordinate the delivery of specific training in accordance with Training Plan;
  • Monitor, review and implement any training evaluation assessments;
  • Undertake training audits and training needs analysis;
  • Provide weekly reports on Training.
  • Contribute to and foster a positive team working environment;
 
Educational Qualification:
  • Norwegian training qualifications preferred;
  • Leadership Qualifications
Work Experience and Skills required:
  • Previous training management;
  • Heavy Industry (manufacturing, Mining, Process, Oil & Gas) imperative;
  • Workplace Training and Assessing experience;
  • Strong Computer Skills;
  • Bi Lingual English & Norwegian would be ideal;
  • Strong Leadership and communication Skills required
