Production Director - Open-Pit Copper Mine

I am looking for a Production Director for a big open-pit mine – one of the biggest COPPER mine in the region (South-East Europe) – more than 10 million tones capacity annually, more than 1’000 FTE, about 92% Cu recovery from ore (total).
 
He/ she should cover the following requirements:
  • Strong experience (min 5-10 years) in various parts of an open-cast copper mine and ore-dressing copper plant (filtration plant). The plant is with about 10 million tones year copper ore exploration.
  • Experience with project management for such plants (for the equipment, technology of the production).
  • The client prefers a specialist from Scandinavian countries, UK, Australia, Canada and/ or South Africa, with experience in those countries.
  • Strong operational mining experience
  • English speaking
  • Preferably with experience in South East Europe region
  • The client offers competitive remuneration package and additional benefits for the relocation
The client plant started a project for renovation of the equipment and needs the support of the Production Director for that process. He/ she should be ready to relocate personally and/ or with the family to SEE with the possibility to sign 1 + 5 (10) year’s contract (depends on him/ her).
 
There are additional opportunities for promotion within the Plant.
