Technical Expert (Screens)

The Position
As an experienced Technical Expert on Screens this 12 month contract will see you reporting to the Site Manager in Indonesia. You will be responsible for overseeing all Concentrator Plant Screen maintenance. This includes supervision and training of client supplied, contractor and/or [Employer] Service Technician personnel.
 
The Duties
·         Oversee & assist with screen maintenance activities within the Concentrator Plant and workshop. Including; screen rebuilds, change outs, routine, preventative & breakdown maintenance
·         Assist with on-the-job training of nationals
·         Record & inform contract manager of screen issues
·         Supervise & maintain Occupational Health & Safety and Quality Systems
·         Investigate & report hazards, accidents & incidents and participate in risk reduction
 
Qualifications & Experience
·         A mechanical trade qualification from college / technical school; or five to seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education & exp
·         Experience should include at least 3 years from one or several of the following industries: mining, aggregate or contract crushing
·         Current motor vehicle licence
·         Ability to pass Expatriate MCU and random medical and drug tests
·         Ability to work an 8:2 week roster (Roster negotiable for the right candidate)
