Description:
·         Our client is looking for a Shift Foreman in the Mining industry at a Plant of theirs.
 
Requirements:
·         Previous experience in a supervisory capacity will serve as a recommendation
·         FLM/BMP will serve as a recommendation
·         Computer literacy
·         ISO 17025 quality system knowledge will serve as a recommendation
 
Other requirements:
·         Leadership: Providing direction, motivating and developing others
·         Analytical: Judgement, problem solving/analysis and objective setting
·         Dynamism: Self-confidence, decisiveness initiative and persuasiveness
·         Practical: Operational/maintenance skills
·         Negotiation skills
·         Good communication skills that influence team spirit
 
Responsibilities:
·         Upholding safety regulations at all times
·         Quality control of processes and co-ordinating between grade control
·         Laboratory and the Jig plant
·         Applying all SHEQ standards
·         Implementing and maintaining a laboratory quality system compliant with ISO 17025
·         Managing the QA processes in the Jog laboratory
·         Maxamising the utilisation of equipment in the area of responsibility
·         Ensuring maximum throughput of samples within budgetary limits
·         Managing subordanites' outputs to achieve the section's targets
·         Developing subordinates to their prescribed competence levels
·         Implementing and streamlining new working procedures/processes
