Professional in Training - Industrial Relations

Description:
·         A client of ours within the Mining Sector is looking for a new Professional in Training- Industrial.
 
Requirements:
·         National Diploma in Industrial Relations, Certificate Programme in Labour law is an added advantage
·         0-2 Years experience in human resources, with specific exposure to industrial relations and employment equity
·         Exposure to CCMA
·         Excellent administration skills essential
·         Good listening skills
·         Good interpersonal skills
·         Good oral andwritten communication skills
·         Attention to detail
·         Adhere to confidentiality
 
Responsibilities:
·         Render inputs towards developing, facilitating and implementing of strategies regarding the IR and Employee Wellness and ensure that objectives in these areas are managed.
·         Facilitate sectional EE forums on an ongoing basis, where updates on labour legislation is provided, as well as discussions in respect of monitoring processes and other EE related issues.
·         Advice line managers on applicable company policy and procedures
·         Support line management in preparing disciplinary hearings and grievance notices
·         Scheduling and attending disciplinary and grievance enquiries.
·         Scribing of minutes of grievance, disciplinary and Appeal hearings and distribution thereof.
·         Sick leave management
·         Participate in the implementation of a housing strategy that addresses the business needs.
·         Contribute towards an effective HIV/Aids strategy that will support labour productivity
·         Ad hoc related tasks
