Civil Design Engineer

·         Salary: R500 000 - R620 000 per annum , depending on experience , are negotiable.
 
Description:
·         Individuals that meet with the minimum requirements and the degree of experience and expertise required are invited to apply for this position.
·         Only South African Citizens need apply.
 
Requirements:
·         Formal Qualification (Minimum Qualifications, no Diploma's please.
·         B Eng (Civil) / BTech Civil · Pr Eng/Pr Tech Experience.
·         Minimum 7 -10 years experience in the design of municipal infrastructure services, preferably in a consulting engineering environment.
·         Site supervision experience . Competencies.
·         Good understanding of water networks, sanitation services & municipal roads.
·         Training and managing of junior staff.
·         Good communication. · Good understanding of Marketing and Business development.
·         Able to deal with clients and colleagues in managing municipal infrastructure projects.
 
Special requirements:
·         Able to teach / lead young graduates.
·         Practical rather than academic approach.
·         Ability to interact with people externally (on the same level or higher). Responsibility.
·         Leader of Civil design team.
·         Business development in municipal and mining sectors.
·         Computer Competency Requirements. · Civil Designer.
·         Knowledge of AutoCAD (Desirable). · MS Office.
·         Good command of the English language.
·         Any other language proficiency will be a bonus.
