Description:
·         Career advancing opportunity for driven Senior Internal Auditor with multinational leader in the mining sector.
·         The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting various scheduled and ad hoc audit assignments as required by the risk based audit coverage plan for Mine.
·         The results of these assignments will be used to provide management with assurance on governance, risk management and internal controls in all areas of the operation.
·         A key responsibility and an essential requirement for this position is that the successful candidate is able to complete the entire audit cycle with minimum levels of supervision, within the allocated time and to the required quality standards of the [Employer]Internal Audit Department.
·         In addition, the successful candidate will be able to conduct multiple assignments concurrently.

Minimum Requirements:
·         A B Comm degree with Accounting and Auditing as majors.
·         Btech degree
·         A CIA qualification would be preferable
·         3 – 5 years experience in internal audit
·         Sound interpersonal skills
·         Strong communication skills (verbal and Written)
·         Strong personal effectiveness - visibility and interactive skills
·         Strong analytical and interpretation skills
·         Sustained high standards of professional internal auditing
·         Planning/organizing and coordinating skills
·         Innovative thinking
·         Leadership skills
