Description:
·         A proudly South African, yet internationally focused mining company, values-driven organisation that is committed to setting the benchmark in the industry is looking for your experience as a Legal Advisor to ensure the highest quality legal advice is made available to the company in the most efficient way.

Duties will include:
·         Providing legal advice
·         Identifying and minimising potential legal risk
·         Ensuring compliance with internal legal and other company procedures and policies
·         Making presentations on legal and regulatory developments
·         Drafting, reviewing and negotiating agreements and other legal documentation
·         Conducting due diligence investigations
·         Instructing and liaising with external legal counsel
·         Helping ensure compliance by the company with all applicable legislation

Minimum requirements:
·         LLB Degree and admission as Attorney
·         Minimum of 4 Years post -article experience in a commercial sector
·         Experience in the drafting and negotiation of project finance and structural finance transactions
·         Ability to work independently and within a team
·         Ability to negotiate at senior level
·         Excellent communication skills
·         Ability to analyse and solve problems
