Underground Section Foreman

[Company], a subsidiary of  [Company], is now accepting applications for the following positions:

UG Section Foreman

Seeking underground section foreman with 3 years experience. Applicants must be able to supervise the safe, efficient operation of the underground mine section of a particular shift. The applicant must insure that the operation of the mine section complies with State & Federal mining regulations and Company policy. The applicant must be able to operate a mine section in accordance with approved mining plans and insure that required inspections are performed. The applicant must insure that proper supplies and equipment are available on the section at all times.

The Underground Section Foreman is responsible for the health and safety of the underground miners working on the section. The applicant must be able to handle disciplinary issues as required, report payroll hours and absences, and perform accident investigation and reporting. The position requires State Underground Foreman Certification.
