Mining Manager

The person reports to General Manager of the Company
 
The main tasks are:
  • Supervise the Head of pit and head of plant (600 people in total in production team).
  • Maximize cost-effective production while maintaining a long-term sustainable safe and environmentally sound mining operation.
  • Implement and guide the best technological practice and technologies in mining process.
  • Act as a key person in a project of reconstruction of the plant.
  • Negotiate and select suppliers and contractors to buy necessary materials, equipment, etc.
Qualifications:
  • At least 10 years of working experience in mining company
  • Higher education in Mine Engineering or equivalent
  • Fluent English, Russian would be a plus
