Electrical Mobile Plant Engineer

We currently have a vacancy for an experienced Electrical Mobile Plant Engineer. You will be required to perform a range of duties on Caterpillar equipment. The role is based on a Gold mine in Ghana.

As a Electrical Mobile Plant Engineer you will be responsible for the service and repair of earthmoving equipment on site in the field. You will perform fault finding and diagnostic tasks to ensure the fleet of machines are operating at full capacity. A strong understanding of safe work methods and the ability to carry out customer requirements will be essential in your success.

Key responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:

Planned maintenance tasks
Repairing and fault finding on electrical and air conditioning systems
Responding to breakdowns
Component rebuilding on all equipment
Equipment installation and problem diagnosis

The ideal applicant should possess:

Auto Electrical qualifications
The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
A demonstrated high level of communication and interpersonal skills along with a professional work standard
Experience in the repair of Caterpillar equipment

Your shift pattern will involve 12 weeks on and 3 weeks off. A competitive salary is on offer for the right candidate.
