Fire Assayers

[Company], a wholly owned subsidiary of Yukon-Nevada Gold Corp., is continuing to expand our operations and we have the following positions available at our [Company] Mine located north of [Location], NV.
 
Position Qualifications for Lab Personnel to be hired, all positions will likely require the candidates to work shifts.
 
Fire Assayers
  • Must be familiar with standard fire assay techniques
  • Proficient in top loading and micro-balance operations
  • Proficient with furnace operation (gas and electric) and maintenance
  • Familiar with Atomic Absorption methodology and operation
  • Must be familiar with standard Sample Preparation Techniques
  • Prefer candidate that has worked with other analytical instrumentation, Carbon & Sulfur analyzers, Mercury analyzers, etc.
  • Familiarity with LIMS system operation is preferred but not required
Candidates will be required to work with donned respirators for extended periods
