Responsibilities:
·         Implementing and entrenching the mission, vision and values of the Business Unit
·         Training and developing subordinates
·         Creating an environment conducive the performance (team-building)
·         Applying knowledge of rules and regulations within the mining operations
·         Actively participating in maintaining the requirements of the Mine Health and Safety Act and Safety Regulations
·         Preparing short- and long-term plans and developing appropriate strategies
·         Taking an active role in the handling of emergency situations and general management functions
·         Providing leadership and direction for the productivity of the Unit
 
Requirements:
·         BSc in Mining Engineering
·         Mine Managers Certificate of Competency
·         Computer Literate
·         Strong Communication and leadership skills
