Assistant Accountant

An outstanding opportunity now exists for a motivated and experienced Assistant Accountant to join our highly successful and growing organisation, which promotes high calibre people in a friendly team based environment.

Reporting to the Finance & Administration Manager, the role is hands on and your responsibilities will be wide and varied including:
·         General Ledger Reconciliations
·         Asset Register Maintenance
·         Assist with Management Reporting, Year End Reporting & Taxation
·         Payroll & HR
·         GST and other state tax obligations
·         Accounts Payable/Receivable
·         IT
·         Assist with Job Analysis, Business analysis, Budgeting, Forecasting & Business Improvement
·         Various project roles
·         Assist others in the team

The ideal candidate will be degree qualified, with strong technical accounting knowledge and excel skills. You will have the ability to communicate at all levels as well as being organised. You will be dedicated, demonstrate attention to detail and have the ability to logically problem solve.

Your focus will be on creating user friendly systems and reporting and be available to team members to improve the information flow.
