Chief Estimator

We have partnered with a leading General Contractor's Infrastructure division, in the Ontario area, who’s looking for an Estimator. Given this division’s new found growth. They now have to build the core of their estimating team, by putting you into their Chief Estimator role!

Responsibilities:
  • Proven track record, of lump sum and design build estimating of large civil projects $20 Million+
  • Good knowledge of unit rates, scheduling, quantity take offs, and pricing.
  • Good trade contracts, negotiation, drawing review, and bid review.
  • Proficiency with all aspects of Microsoft Office, Timberline, Bid 2win, hard dollar, computerized estimating and cost control system
 
Estimating:
  • 5+ years experience as an estimator on awarded projects of $20 Million+
  • Trade or Engineering background
  • Working knowledge and full understanding of constructability of Roads and Bridges.
 
Preferred Certificates:
  • Gold Seal Certification
  • P. ENG
  • Certified Engineering Technologist
  • Estimating Certificates from a technical College
