HR CONSULTANT ROLE (mat cover 1 year)

LOCATION: 3 days based at Head Office [Location] – 2 days based [Location]

SALARY AND BENEFITS: £38,000 – £43,000 plus benefits

YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

• Experience of working in interim assignments at HR Manager level (HR project experience)
• Experience of working for a large corporate national organisation and previous exposure/experience of working in a Head Office (ie: London) –
• Strong negotiator, excellent communicator, capable of managing your own HR projects and working with a variety of different staff members from analyists to -Head Office regional staff
• Previous experience with unions, in manufacturing ideally in the energy service sector, engineering experience of working in a technical environment in a niche market

IDEALLY YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

• CIPD qualified
• Available to work in a years mat cover HR Consultant/Manager level role
• (spend 3 days in London every week and 2 days in Yorkshire)
• Experience of working in a type of culture – (ie: national corporate organisation (energy, power, construction, mining sector))
• Strong Employment Law knowledge
• Background in ER, Operational HR, previous experience of a role supporting Head Office staff
• A strong presence
• Capable of working in a team and running your own HR projects, managing your weekly commitments and travel

ROLE INFORMATION:

This is a maternity cove role for one year. The role will require you to spend 3 days at Head Office in [Location] supporting the Head Office staff in different divisions and working 2 days on site at the Plant in [Location] supporting the Head of HR

This is a ‘generalist operational’ HR role ideally suited to someone who has worked in a large national corporate organisation in a niche sector (ideally energy, power, mining, construction, engineering)
