AMC Consultants is a leading mining consultancy, providing services exclusively to the minerals sector. We are experiencing an exciting period of growth and have a number of interesting opportunities available. 

Our Perth office is currently seeking a Senior Mining Engineer - Open Pit with the following skills and qualifications: 

Specialist skills required:

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate with a variety of stakeholders including senior management, technical professionals and operational personnel at a senior level.
  • Experience in large scale open pit operations, with exposure to some or all of the following areas; mine planning, optimisation, design, scheduling, feasibility studies, due diligence and project management.
  • Strong capability in open pit mine planning and operations.
  • An ability to foster and manage small teams of technical professionals.
  • An ability to write clear and concise reports.


Qualifications required:

  • Degree in Mining Engineering.
  • Seven plus years experience in the mining industry, including technical or operational roles.
  • Membership of, or eligibility to become a member of, an industry recognised professional organisation.
 

The salary packages offered will be commensurate with the skills and experience of the successful candidate.
