Heavy Equipment Technician

A family run and long established company is currently seeking Heavy Equipment Technicians with Mining Equipment experience. This prospective employer has opportunity for lots of overtime operating 12 hour shifts, Monday to Friday with two weeks working in Sparwood (housing accommodations provided). Candidates must have Field Service experience working on CAT, Komatsu or Deere/Hitachi equipment, with the ability to diagnose and repair all systems. Equipment includes, Haul Trucks, Crawler Dozer's and Motor Graders. Technicians will be provided with service trucks as well as work in a clean, state of the art shop. Opportunities for advancement will exist in the immediate future as this company is poised for growth and expansion and looking to promote from within. Relocation assistance for Technicians from outside Southern Alberta is also available. Compensation:

• $33.00 - $38.00/hour.
• Overtime is available after 44 hours.
• A 15% night shift premium,
• $50/day travel allowance, comprehensive benefits,
• 2 weeks vacation to start,
• $150/year boot allowance, plus coveralls, insulated coveralls, winter jacket are also provided and
• a matching RRSP program.
• Housing for Sparwood rotation is fully covered.

Shifts:

• 12 hour shifts (Monday - Friday), lots of overtime.
• One "on-call" weekend every 6 weeks.
• 2 week rotation in Sparwood required on a frequent basis.
