Territory Manager

The Territory Manager for [Company] Production Automation / Milwaukee Cylinder provides overall sales growth and penetration with OEM cusomters within the low pressure hydraulic marketplace.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and penetrate new OEM accounts within targeted vertical markets.
  • Responsible for annual sales targets and sales growth.
  • Support assigned PA TMs as a mentor for OEM opportunities.
  • Responsible for the effective promotion of assigned products within the Milwaukee Cylinder product lines.
  • Maintain current knowledge of the marketplace through regular contact with customers.
  • Lead market penetration within the targeted vertical market of Specialty Machine Tools.
  • Produce an annual sales plan encompassing Milwaukee Cylinder strategies pertinent to territory growth.
  • Maintain an attitude and appearance commensurate with that of a thoroughly professional salesperson.
  • Maintain company property (vehicle, demonstration stock, promotional items, etc.) in excellent condition.
  • Submit accurate expense reports on a monthly basis.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in sales/marketing, mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering or equivalent related field experience is required.
  • Technical aptitude is required.
  • Estimated travel of 60% within the territory is required.
  • Ability to manage concurrent projects independently and in a team environment is required.
  • Strong organization, written, oral, and professional skills required.
  • Previous outside sales experience of at least 3 years is required.
  • Computer skills of Microsoft Office and presentational PowerPoint skills are required; would prefer sales automation or sales management software experience.
