HSE Coordinator

Description:

• Junior level HSE professional with up to 3 years’ experience in waste, chemical substances, waste materials and/or water management knowledge and experience. Technical degree and strong computer and electronic systems skills required. 
• Creative thinker, out-side the box mentality while having a mindset of compliance assurance. Team player with good problem solving skills. Ability to provide creative and innovative ways and means to problems solving and new business ideas.

Duties:

• Conceptualize and facilitate upgrades to HSE Portal of SWNet,
• Coordinate, compile and submit Sara Title III annual reports on behalf of [Company] subsidiary cos.
• Advise on waste management issues,
• Coordinate and facilitate third party reviews of waste facilities utilized by [Company] subsidiary cos.
• Evaluate/audit and approve waste vendors (transporters, storage and disposal facilities),
• Extract information for designing and facilitate modifications to HSE training systems,
• Provide training to [Company] employees about various HSE programs, systems and processes,
• Assist with development/refinement of compliance control tools and systems,
• Participate in routine HSE Resource Systems meetings,
• Actively participate in trade industry association meetings,
• Provide ideas and methods that will facilitate continuous improvements to HSE programs, systems and processes,
• Take active ownership of HSE program, systems and process advancements,
• Partner with internal and external business groups and functions to achieve desired endpoints including business goals.

Required Skills:

• Provide regulatory research on HSE issues and provide guidance on how to satisfy HSE regulations to partner groups,
• Seek professional certifications/qualifications and maintain current status on them
