Corporate Health and Safety Director
- The primary responsibilities of this senior corporate-level position will be development, oversight and management of Trihydro’s Health and Safety (H&S) system and programs.
- Candidates must have a B.S. in Occupational Safety & Health, Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, or a related field, at least 10 years industry experience, including at least five years of relevant program management experience.
- Applicable areas of experience include, but are not limited to H&S system development, programs administration, training, data management and analysis, medical surveillance and case management and personnel management and client/customer relations.
- Additionally, applicants must have proven technical writing, communication, business development, and project management skills.
- Preferred candidates will have a professional certification(s) related to Health and Safety (i.e. CIH, CSP, CHMM, or PE), or the ability to obtain one in a timely manner. Additionally, preferred candidates will have experience in the environmental consulting, petroleum, chemical, manufacturing, mining, waste management and/or construction services industries.
- Applicants should also have a comprehensive knowledge of State and Federal OSHA programs and regulations, Workers’ Compensation, industrial facility and corporate H&S requirements, policies, procedures and programs
