Tasks

• Produce powder blends though the process of Loading rodmills and ballmills with raw materials per procedures.  
• Milling the material to spec.  Unloading rodmills through the operation of the overhead crane and the use of the unloading station mechanically operated for discharging the milled wet slurried material onto a screening unit.  
• Unloading ballmills of wet slurried material onto a screening unit.  
• Unloading ballmills of wet slurried material on the the screener unit per procedure.  
• Loading the wet slurried material into vacuum driers for final drying which is monitored and checked through the drying cycle per procedure.  
• Preparing the dryer for unloading the powder blend by scraping the inside walls and paddles, taking a sample and fitzmilling it per procedure then packaging the sample to be sent to lab.  
• Unloading the final powder blend from the dryer into cans which are weighed for final shipment or into hoppers for fitzmilling and sampling when required.  
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and in the department.   
• Greenbelt requirement 18 months after hire.  Must be able to lift 70lb on a continuous basis.

Requirements

• Must possess a high school diploma or GED certificate.  Must be self-motivated to complete certification procedures required for operators. 
• Must possess good communication skills.
