Job Description

  • For 2011-2012 grads with a concentration in Engineering, Actuant introduces our Engineering Management Development Program (EMDP).  Actuant’s EMDP is designed to attract, recruit and develop top engineering  graduates with the desire to excel in a fast-paced, global and diverse manufacturing environment.
  • Diverse Rotation Experiences
  • Actuant’s 2-3 year diversified engineering development program will provide:
  • Rotations in 3 different businesses across 2 or more segments which may include Electrical, Energy, Engineered Solutions or Industrial.
  • An executive mentor
  • High visibility and interaction with leadership team members
  • New product and process development opportunities with engineers around the world
  • Formal networking opportunities
  • Engineering, leadership and Actuant’s LEAD process improvement training

Rotations may include roles such as:

  • LEAD Facilitator (Lean Enterprise Across Disciplines)
  • Operations
  • Quality Engineering
  • Design Engineering
  • Application and Sales Engineering
  • Production and Inventory Engineering
  • Project Management
  • Product Development

Required Skills

Eligibility:

  • Undergraduate degree from an accredited university
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or related)
  • Demonstrated strong academic performance; cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher on 4-point scale
  • Demonstrated leadership through work experience, campus activities and/or community service
  • Geographic mobility is a requirement
  • Must complete and pass a background check and drug screen as a condition of employment
  • Hold citizenship or permanent resident status for the primary location of their program (may be U.S. Europe, China)
