Marketing Specialist - Tools Developer

Job Description

  • As a Marketing Specialist - Tools Developer, one would be responsible for the development and deployment of tools and trainings that drive continuous improvement throughout the [Company] portfolio of companies; thusly expanding the capacity and competency of the global organization.  
  • This role would personally engage in the LEAD (Lean Enterprises Across Disciplines) Process at [Company] through LEAD event facilitation and participation; Assist individual [Company] business units to deliver results through the development, improvement, and implementation of the LEAD processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as Subject Matter Experts (SME) in the development and deployment of processes, tools and trainings in support of Growth + Innovation and Operational Excellence.
  • Support the management of marketing tools/processes, maintaining and enhancing the portfolio of materials available online and improving their impact on the Businesses.
  • Facilitate, mentor, and train individuals in the use of the marketing tools and techniques; Also, support Operational Excellence, Project Management, Procurement, Health Safety & Environmental and other “LEAD” Continuous Improvement tools & techniques.
  • Responsible for developing training content and using that content to train internal LEAD Coordinators & Facilitators, project teams, and BU Leaders in training sessions, summits and conferences.
  • Responsible for assisting individual [Company] business units to deliver results through the development, improvement, and implementation of the LEAD processes.  Work with the LEAD Office Support Group to identify the needs of the BU’s regarding LEAD process, training needs and future strategic organizational requirements.

Required Capabilities:

  • Experience with the researching and creating marketing tools
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, both oral and written demonstrated by the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional global team environment, interacting effectively with multiple cultures.
  • Capacity to understand the corporate vision, and the ability to share it with the BU leadership and personnel across the organization
  • Computer literacy and analytical skills must be above average, including experience with Microsoft suite of products
  • Bachelor’s degree (BS) from a four-year college or university, or a four-year technical degree or equivalent in engineering, business or related field.
  • Minimum of four years’ experience in a functional capacity (Engineering, Marketing, Manufacturing or Quality).
  • Demonstrated Project Management skills.
  • Ability to travel globally up to 25% of the time.
  • Demonstrated strong leadership skills, with the ability to effectively function in a supportive/consultative role.
  • Must be able to show success by influencing others, facilitating teams and leading projects.
  • Demonstrated understanding of Marketing and New Product Development / Growth + Innovation tools and processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams.
