Intern- IT Infrastructure Services

Description of internship:

• The following is a list of projects and activities that the Intern will be involved in or will be responsible for. The intern will be partnered with an experienced IT Administrator or Engineer and will be exposed to all the duties and responsibilities of the job description.

Some of the expected activities will be:

• Procedures documentation.
• Researching, choosing, ordering, and installing IT equipment such as PCs, Printers, and Peripherals.
• Building PCs manually as well through the use of imaging tools.
• Testing and installing new software packages.
• Testing and deploying software upgrades.
• Building and pushing application packages for remote / automatic installation.
• Triaging support calls escalated to Infrastructure Services by the Service Desk.
• The Intern will be mentored and trained in troubleshooting techniques, IT principals, and administration of various IT systems.

Requirements:

• Major: any technical discipline (Computer Engineering ideal)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Team collaboration
