Senior Process/Remediation Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• The Conshohocken, PA office of [Company] is seeking a Senior Process Engineer, to lead the growth and management of a design team involved in a wide variety of environmental remediation and wastewater treatment projects involving mining, manufacturing, power, and pharmaceutical clients.
• The candidate will also be responsible for the identification of business opportunities, preparation of proposals, presentations to potential clients, and negotiations of contracts.

Additional responsibilities include:

• Leading the design, construction, and operations & maintenance of treatment systems for industrial wastewater and environmental remediation (e.g. groundwater and soil);
• Mentoring junior-level engineers;
• Technical review of detailed design reports, drawings, calculations, and specifications;
• Performing a variety of technical work in the initial planning and design phases of projects, including planning, scheduling, preparing engineering cost estimates, and leading meetings with clients and/or regulatory agencies;
• Performing a variety of technical work in the pre-construction and construction phases of projects, including supporting permitting efforts, preparation of contractor bid packages, and management of contractor work performance;
• Using creativity and objectivity to perform studies and technical assessments to arrive at the most cost effective, reliable technical solution;
• Building and maintaining client relationships.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering;
• A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience;
• PE Registration;
• Consulting experience;
• Chemical process experience in environmental applications;
• Ability to conduct conceptual engineering and feasibility evaluations;
• Strong report-writing and communication skills.
