Senior Managing/Principal Scientist, Greenhouse Gas Management
Position Locations:

This individual should be an established senior consultant and expert in one or more facets of the field, including:
- Greenhouse gas strategy development
- Emissions inventories, controls, and mitigation
- Strategic and engineering approaches to risk mitigation and/or emissions reductions
- Project specific permitting and mitigation
- Consultation on and technical evaluation of offsets
- Meteorology and climatology (modeling)
- Environmental and/or health effect of greenhouse gas management emissions and climate modifications
- Risk assessment, quantification, communication, and management
- Technical support to greenhouse gas related litigation
Qualifications for this position include:
- M.S. or Ph.D. in an Engineering or Scientific discipline
- 15+ years of consulting experience, including expertise in greenhouse gas risk management / climate change
- Strong scientific or engineering and economics / business background related to greenhouse gas management
- Fluency on regulatory and intergovernmental initiatives relating to greenhouse gas management
- Understanding of interrelated technical, business, and regulatory issues is essential
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
