Sr. GEO Analyst, E&P Data

Role:

• The E&P Data Coordinator is responsible for all matters related to proprietary and vendor E&P data solutions, including data management, quality control, loading, replication, database structure, and tools to report, add, and transfer data to and from technical computing applications. The E&P Data Coordinator provides functional leadership to centralized and co-located data management staff.
• Reporting Relationship: Team Leader, E&P Data

Duties / Responsibilities

The E&P Data Coordinator will be responsible for:

• Efficient and effective management of E&P data management environment.
• Discovery of data sources for required data.
• Capture, loading, quality control, replication, and reporting of data.
• Working with the Team Leader, E&P Data, to ensure E&P databases are consistent with [Company] E&P data management standards.
• Providing technical guidance to Geo-technicians.
• Participation on E&P data governance board.
• Ensuring consistent administration of technical databases.
• Facilitating knowledge transfer and information sharing across the enterprise.

Key Skills / Competencies

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Geoscience or Engineering with 10+ years’ experience managing E&P data for large independent or major oil and gas firms.
